By accessing or using Little Librarian (“the platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

What Little Librarian is

Little Librarian is an information platform. We provide a space for volunteers to present themselves and for community tasks and opportunities to be listed. We do not employ volunteers, manage organisations, supervise activities, or act as an agent or intermediary for any party.

Platform only — no liability for arrangements

Any arrangement made between a volunteer and an organisation found through this platform is entirely between those parties. Little Librarian is not a party to any such arrangement and accepts no responsibility or liability for:

  • the conduct, actions, or omissions of any volunteer or organisation listed on the platform
  • any injury, loss, damage, or harm arising from volunteer activities undertaken as a result of contact made through this platform
  • the accuracy or completeness of any information provided by volunteers or organisations
  • the outcome of any task, project, or engagement arranged via this platform

You use this platform and act on information found here entirely at your own risk.

Volunteer responsibilities

If you are a volunteer using this platform, you are responsible for your own safety and conduct during any activity. You should satisfy yourself that any task or organisation is legitimate before committing your time. Little Librarian cannot verify the accuracy of task descriptions, location information, or organisation details.

Organisation responsibilities

If you are an organisation listing tasks or seeking volunteers, you are responsible for ensuring your listings are accurate, lawful, and appropriate. You must not list tasks that involve illegal activity, exploitation, or unsafe conditions.

Content on this platform

Volunteer profiles, task descriptions, and other content on this platform are provided by third parties. We do not independently verify this content. If you believe any content is inaccurate, inappropriate, or violates these terms, contact us at [email protected].

Intellectual property

The Little Librarian name, logo, and platform design are our property. Volunteer-submitted content (including videos and profile text) remains the property of the individual who submitted it.

Termination

We reserve the right to remove any listing, profile, or content from the platform at any time and without notice, at our sole discretion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Little Librarian operates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
